We are recruiting for an Engineering Manager (Electrical Bias) to join a well-established team at a large commercial building in Huddersfield. The Role

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering operations across a prestigious commercial site, ensuring compliance, service delivery, and maintenance standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Supervising and supporting a team of engineers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance and health & safety requirements are met
  • Overseeing electrical systems and associated building services plant
  • Managing permits, documentation, and compliance records
  • Acting as the main point of contact for site stakeholders
  • Supporting the development and performance of the engineering team

Requirements

  • Level 3 Electrical Qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing
  • Previous experience within commercial building maintenance
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
