Purpose of the Job
To deliver mechanical and electrical maintenance across commercial or industrial sites, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently. To carry out reactive and planned maintenance while supporting uptime, compliance, and client satisfaction. To participate in the call-out rota as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, and repair mechanical and electrical systems across the site.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of works.
- Participate in the call-out rota (1 in 3), providing standby support with prompt response to emergencies.
- Complete maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Support overtime work for additional projects or tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance skills and career progression.
Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills
- M&E experience with either mechanical or electrical bias.
- Commercial or industrial site experience preferred.
- Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proactive, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to work.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
- Salary: Β£42,000 - Β£45,000 DOE
- Standby: 1 in 3 callout, Β£100 allowance
- Overtime available
