Working across a large and well maintained estate, you will play a key role in ensuring buildings remain safe, presentable, and fully operational for staff, students, and visitors. What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the estate
- Completing basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, and minor leaks
- Performing general carpentry and fabric maintenance works
- Painting, decorating, and making good throughout the buildings
- Assisting with room setups for meetings, functions, events, and examinations
- Supporting furniture moves and departmental relocations
- Carrying out routine inspections and reporting defects
- Replacing ceiling tiles, locks, ironmongery, and fixtures
- Assisting contractors during maintenance and project works
- Maintaining high presentation standards across the site
- Completing maintenance records and job sheets accurately
