List of Duties
- To manage contractors whilst on site, ensuring rams, permits and competencies in place and checked
- Provide cover for holidays / absence for in post cleaner
- Cover for absence in cleaning when required
- Attend weekly meetings with client to discuss any planned, works and deal with issues as they arise
- Oversee and collate H&S documentation both hard copy and on the shared drive. To include: fire; first aid; maintenance; pest management; Puwer inspections; Safety Walks; Electrical testing; Nestle service records; DSE;; PPE; Workplace inspections;
- Handyman function – Basic handyman
- Grass cutting / Pat testing (training) / Emergency light testing (with training)
- Oversee and maintain the Contractor Management file ensuring compliance to BAE and Sodexo procedures
- Support with the review and updating of all annual policies and procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Be responsible for oneself and others ensuring adherence to the site rules
- Champion safety by reporting hazards, concerns and observations.
- Ensure all contractor files are maintained and checked for accuracy and in date.
- Ensure T1 and T2 audits are carried out in a timely manner, along with site walks and near miss, safety observations are completed/
- Ensure all contractors information is checked and validated prior to coming on site
- Ensure all permits and rams in place and shown to client prior to arrival
- Procure and raise quotes and Purchase orders for approved works (training will be provided)
