We are currently seeking an experienced Fabric Supervisor to oversee a team of fabric engineers at a prestigious site in Trafalgar Square. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive supervisor looking to join a leading facilities management provider and take ownership of day-to-day fabric maintenance across a high-profile building.
You will be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive works, supervising contractors and engineers, ensuring compliance, and maintaining excellent communication with the client. This role would suit someone with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of fabric engineers and ensure high-quality delivery of all PPM and reactive tasks
- Oversee building fabric works including carpentry, painting, plastering, basic plumbing, and general maintenance
- Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and management to ensure smooth site operations
- Complete documentation, reports, and maintain accurate records
- Support continuous improvement and ensure service excellence across the site
- Proven experience as a Fabric Supervisor or Senior Fabric Engineer
- Strong knowledge of building fabric maintenance
- Ability to lead, organise, and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Relevant trade qualifications desirable
- £45,000 base salary
- Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
