We are currently recruiting for a great business who are hiring for an Engineering Manager to deliver the M&E obligations we have under the hard FM contract at a commercial site in Westminster London. With this opportunity you will provide line management duties for an engineering team of 6 people. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of maintenance schedules and lead and manage all planned maintenance activity on site. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a first-class team working in partnership with a top corporate client. This opportunity offers great progression with a training package worth £5,000 on offer from day one.
The Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of services to the highest standard, ensuring the effective management of staff, the provision of excellent customer service.
- To assist with the effective management of M&E Performance, including the incurrence of financial penalties, to ensure that all services are delivered to the contract specification.
- Ensure contract compliance with all auditing bodies both internal and external.
- To ensure appropriate training provisions on induction and use of equipment and to identify training needs for the service.
- Manage all associated subcontracted services and to ensure that subcontractors are able to carry out their duties in a safe and timely manner.
- Champion continuous improvement, energy efficiency and environmental improvements.
- To deputise for the Senior Operations Manager, Hard Services in their absence.
Experience and Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical.
- Experience as a Manager in Maintenance & Engineering.
- Good knowledge of Building Services.
- Great time management skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
