Invictus are recruiting for an electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a static critical building in Oxford. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers as this position is a temporary vacancy lasting 3 months before being reviewed for extension, with a possibility of going permanent.
You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and worked on other FM/Building Services roles.
The client in question is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry and after winning this massive contract at the start of 2025 they are looking to expand the team at the site. This large critical building requires 24/7 cover consisting of both day and shift teams.
The position is a Monday to Friday 8-5 role and it will be paying up to £27 per hour. This role has an opportunity to go permanent.
Duties:
- Ensure the PPM's and reactive maintenance is completed
- Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls
- Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained
- Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance
- This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.
Skills Required:
- The successful candidate MUST have:
- Electrically trained with at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance and services.
- Must have 17th or 18th edition
- Must have Level 3 Electrical installation
- Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
