Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Stratford
Salary: ÂŁ45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday 7-4
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical engineer to join our team at a prestigious contract based in Stratford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand-new environment within a close-knit, supportive team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the electrical and general systems across the site.
This role offers a competitive salary of ÂŁ45,000 per annum, plenty of overtime opportunity and progression
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems, including lighting, power, and distribution systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly, ensuring minimal downtime for the facility.
- Working on Simmtronic Lighting Systems
- Monitoring BMS systems (Siemens)
- Able to aide in completing compliance and paperwork
- Training Apprentice to become a fully competent engineer
- Work collaboratively with the on-site maintenance team to address general building maintenance issues as needed.
- Carry out small installation works and upgrades where required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and any relevant reporting.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when necessary.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential).
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well within a small team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full understanding of health and safety protocols.
