Electrical Engineer – £46,000-£48,000 – Canary WharfI am currently looking to speak to Electrical Engineers for a large corporate site based in Canary Wharf.

The need is for an Electrical Engineer to come and join a 4 person engineering team, and continue to provide an efficient service of maintenance across electrical and building services.

This company is globally recognised and is one where all engineers will learn and develop their career and skill set. On offer will be specific internal and external training opportunities.

As a Eletcrical Engineer you will be required to work a Monday-Friday split days pattern, 7am-4pm & 9am-6pm.

Day to Day Duties

PPM, reactive maintenance

Working on Electrical, Mechanical and general building services

Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner

Be proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve

Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported escalated as required.

Maintain informal communications with client staff members related to service levels and issues

Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client

Remain flexible with regards to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency\\ Be fully aware of relevant Health & Safety and general legislative matters

All plant will be monitored on a planned maintenance basis regularly as well as dealing with all reactive repairs that arise on a daily basis. All applicants must come form a strong maintenance background and have the ability to deal with a fast paced commercial environment.

Skills Required

With at least 5 years experience in building services

Core qualifications are key in this role the minimum requirement is Level 3 in Electrical Installation

Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
