A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Critical Site Supervisor to take the lead in a secure and high-availability Data Centre environment based in Croydon. This role involves managing a small team of engineers and overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of a critical facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small team of engineers, ensuring high standards of service and safety.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across critical building services.
- Support infrastructure projects, including occasional evening and weekend work.
- Perform monthly generator load tests (typically out of hours).
- Ensure the site remains compliant with all statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Act as a local point of contact for emergency response.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a technical supervisory role, ideally within a critical environment such as a data centre or secure facility.
- Strong technical background in electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management.
- Willingness and flexibility to support out-of-hours work when needed.
- Must live locally due to emergency response requirements.
- Must be eligible for and willing to complete full Security Clearance checks.
Desirable:
- Current HVAP certification (or readiness to achieve within 12 months).
