The Role: We’re working with a well-established retail business seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their maintenance team. You’ll cover around 18–22 retail sites within the M23 corridor, delivering planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance while ensuring minimal downtime across all stores. You’ll be part of a regional team of six engineers led by an Area Refrigeration Manager, using a fully electronic job system and managing your own daily workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems across multiple retail sites
- Diagnose and repair faults on pack systems, cold rooms, display cabinets, and compressors
- Maintain compliance with F-Gas regulations and complete all job reports electronically
- Support colleagues within your region during call-outs
- Plan and prioritise daily works efficiently
What You’ll Need:
- F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential)
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration maintenance within retail or similar environments
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving ability and self-motivation
Package & Benefits:
