An immediate requirement has arisen for a Commercial Estate Manager to join a leading property consultancy in London on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. The role involves managing a high-profile estate in London, offering up to £55,000 per annum plus a car allowance. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a commercial property portfolio, including property inspections, tenant liaison, and lease management.
The Role:
- Manage property inspections, tenant relations, lease administration, budgeting, and coordinate maintenance to ensure properties are compliant, attractive, and operationally efficient.
- Oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and legal requirements.
- Develop and manage service charge budgets; oversee expenditures and ensure cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants; respond promptly to inquiries and issues.
- Manage lease events such as rent reviews, lease renewals, and dilapidations, collaborating with legal teams and agents.
- Oversee facilities and maintenance contractors, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Prepare reports for clients and senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in commercial property/estate management.
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, service charge budgeting, and property compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks effectively.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
- MRICS qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
