We are looking for a highly organised and technically strong CAD Project Manager to join our growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading projects, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality coordinated MEP drawings across a range of building projects.
You'll play a central role in the design and delivery process, working closely with engineers, technicians, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, coordinated, and timely project information.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing coordinated 2D MEP drawings to construction level
- Translating engineers' mark‐ups into clear, high-quality CAD outputs
- Managing drawings, models, worksets, and sheets to agreed standards
- Coordinating across MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines
Leadership & Collaboration
- Working closely with UK‐based engineers to manage workloads and deadlines
- Coordinating and reviewing work from an overseas CAD delivery team
- Mentoring CAD technicians and helping raise drawing quality across the team
- Supporting engineers in design team and client meetings
Quality & Standards
- Upholding QA and BIM standards
- Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards, and industry best practice
- Managing document control, drawing registers, and issue records
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience producing MEP building services drawings
- Excellent AutoCAD skills, with Revit/BIM experience highly desirable
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design information
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritise deadlines effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Previous experience mentoring or supervising CAD technicians is advantageous
