Purpose of the Job
- To provide planned and reactive maintenance across the client's commercial portfolio throughout the city.
- To deliver high-quality building services maintenance in line with client SLAs.
- To work as a foot mobile engineer covering multiple sites within Zones 1-3.
- To take a proactive approach in identifying faults and escalating issues where required.
- To ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults depending on bias.
- Maintain plant, equipment, and building services systems across commercial properties.
- Ensure all work orders are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and statutory requirements.
- Accurately complete paperwork and maintenance reports.
- Work independently while supporting the wider engineering team when required.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship across all sites.
Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills
- Mechanical or Electrical bias.
- Must hold a Level 2 qualification or be fully qualified electrically.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Building Services / Facilities Maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Reliable, professional, and well-organised.
- Willingness to attend training and develop skills.
Role Details & Benefits
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
- Salary: £45,000.
- Travel: Zones 1-3 Travel Card provided.
