Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and systems
  • Maintain and operate HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and boilers
  • Fault finding, repairs, and minor installations
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with statutory regulations and site procedures
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and reports
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other engineers on site
  • Support site compliance and health & safety standards at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a commercial or critical environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly HVAC and building services
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Understanding of PPM schedules and reactive maintenance
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Able to work continental shifts days & nights (7am–7pm)
