Lead Electrical Bias Engineer

Location: London

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Our client, a well-established organisation based in London, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Engineer to join their engineering team in a lead capacity. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong electrical maintenance experience and the ability to provide technical leadership on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
• Fault finding and repair on electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and electrical regulations
• Act as the lead engineer for electrical services on site
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors when required
• Support and guide other engineers with electrical issues
• Complete maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in an electrical or electrical bias maintenance role
• Strong background in building services or facilities maintenance
• Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
• Experience with lighting, power, emergency lighting, and distribution systems
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
