We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Leader to join a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong electrical professional looking for stability, progression, and a great work-life balance with a days-only shift pattern.
The Role
As the Electrical Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading the electrical team on site, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will act as the technical point of contact on shift and support the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical engineers during your shift
- Carry out and oversee PPMs and reactive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on critical systems
- Complete accurate documentation and reports
- Liaise with management and subcontractors when required
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience in a Shift Leader or Senior Engineer role
- Experience within commercial or critical environments
- Strong fault-finding and leadership skills
- Good communication and organisational ability
