We are currently supporting a global, blue-chip organisation within the banking and corporate sector who are seeking an experienced Client-Side Capital Projects Manager to support the delivery of major commercial office fit-outs and refurbishments across their UK real estate portfolio.
This is not a construction site PM role. The position sits client-side and requires strong stakeholder leadership, design governance, and capital project delivery experience within regulated corporate environments.
The Role
You will act as the client representative, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of capital works projects, including new office fit-outs and major refurbishments. Projects will typically range from 20,000 sq ft+ and will involve complex stakeholder coordination in live, occupied environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Client-side delivery of commercial office fit-outs and refurbishments
- Managing projects from business case through design, delivery, and handover
- Leading projects through RIBA stages 0β7
- Acting as the key interface between the business and delivery teams
- Managing programme, budget, risk, governance, and reporting
- Coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders (IT, Security, Workplace, FM, etc.)
- Identifying and mitigating project risks in live corporate environment
Essential Experience
- Proven end-to-end capital projects delivery experience
- Demonstrable delivery of commercial office fit-outs (20,000 sq ft+)
- Strong knowledge of Cat A β Cat B fit-outs and Cat B enhancements
- Solid understanding of RIBA stages 0β7
- Experience working client-side or embedded within corporate real estate teams
- Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills
- 10+ yearsβ experience delivering capital works projects
Desirable
- Experience within banking, financial services, or professional services
- Procurement and supply-chain management exposure
- Experience working in live, occupied office environments
