An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading facilities management company, working within a large commercial and industrial environment in Bolton. This is a site-based role working as part of a strong on-site engineering team, offering excellent training, overtime opportunities and long-term career progression.
The Role:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across electrical and building services systems.
- Supporting maintenance across lighting, power and associated M&E plant.
- Fault finding and diagnosing issues within a commercial environment.
- Working closely with the wider engineering team to maintain site operations.
- Supporting compliance tasks and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm
- Every Wednesday: 5am–1:30pm due to scheduled compliance testing
The Site:
- Large commercial/industrial building
- Modern facilities including offices, canteen and operational areas
- 3-person engineering team onsite
Package:
- £38,000 – £40,000 basic salary

Requirements:
- Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
- Experience within building services or commercial maintenance.
