Purpose of the Job: To provide electrical maintenance and support across commercial or industrial sites in Birmingham, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. To carry out reactive and planned maintenance while supporting compliance and site uptime. To participate in call‑out duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reactive and planned electrical maintenance across assigned sites.
- Fault‑find, repair, and maintain electrical systems including lighting, distribution, and associated plant.
- Participate in on‑call / call‑out rota when required.
- Complete maintenance logs, handovers, and compliance documentation accurately.
- Support overtime work from additional projects or urgent repairs.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers to maintain site operations and safety standards.
Personal Experience / Qualifications / Skills:
- Qualified electrical engineer with commercial, industrial, or critical site experience.
- Experience with fault‑finding and reactive maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive with a safety‑first mindset.
- Relevant certifications or HV/LV experience beneficial but not essential.
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Monday - Friday, standard working hours (specific hours depending on site).
- Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 DOE.

- Van may be supplied for site travel.
