We’re partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit a dependable Fabric Technician for a busy, well‑maintained healthcare site in Basingstoke. - £34,000 – £36,000

The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering both PPM and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring the building remains safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is a varied position suited to someone with a broad skill set and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance
- Basic electrical tasks (lamp changes, minor repairs, fault finding)
- Basic plumbing (unblocking, minor leaks, general upkeep)
- General building maintenance including doors, locks, fixtures, fittings, and finishes
- Support the wider engineering team to maintain a safe, compliant healthcare environment
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with site procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Fabric Technician, Maintenance Operative, or similar
- Strong all‑round building maintenance skills
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Experience in a healthcare or commercial environment is beneficial
