Invictus Complex Care is a fully nurse owned and led complex care provider. We recruit specifically to our clients and provide excellent support to our team to ensure they feel valued and wish to continue working with us. We look after our care & nursing teams to allow them to have the confidence to look after our clients.

Invictus Complex Care is looking for a compassionate and reliable Complex Care Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting a client living in their own home in the Bexhill on Sea area. This is a waking night role supporting a client with a brain injury and complex health needs. The successful candidate will provide attentive overnight care to ensure the client remains safe, comfortable, and well‑supported throughout the night.

Supporting responsibilities:

  • Moving and positioning
  • Suctioning due to secretion build‑up
  • PEG feeding
  • Personal care and comfort needs
  • Monitoring and responding to changes in the client’s condition
  • Maintaining accurate care records and communication with the wider team

You will work as part of a nurse‑led care team with ongoing support from a dedicated Nurse Manager.

Shift Pattern:

  • 2 waking nights per week
  • 20:45 – 09:00
  • 4 week rolling rota – Week 1: Wed & Sun, Week 2: Wed & Sat, Week 3: Fri & Sun, Week 4: Wed & Sat

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in community based care is essential
  • Experience with complex care, PEG feeding, or suctioning is preferred, although full training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Calm, reliable, and professional approach
  • Compassionate and person‑centred attitude
  • Ability to work independently within the client’s home
