Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead nurse to join us on a maternity cover basis, to oversee and enhance the quality of our complex care services for adults and children. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care, aligning with our commitment to excellence. This is initially on a maternity cover basis (12 months) with a potential to be extended.

Duties:

  • Oversee a small case load and support the nurse management team.
  • On call responsibilities.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to our nurse managers, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of personalised care plans
  • Conducting clinical audits to maintain high standards of care.
  • Working collaboratively with clinical director and clinical nurse management team to ensure best evidence based practice is followed
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
  • Significant experience in a clinical leadership role within community care setting
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Enhanced DBS check with the child and adult workforce is desirable but can be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in completing tasks accurately and thoroughly.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.
  • Problem-solving: Proactive and resourceful in addressing issues and finding solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and demands.
