Overview

Please note: we are unable to support with visa sponsorship or 20 hours per week alongside current sponsorship.

Care Assistant required to support a gentleman in Totton. We are recruiting for 2 positions:

  • Permanent: Week 1 — 2x 15-hour shifts per week, 7am to 10pm. Week 2 — 2x 13-hour shifts per week, 8am to 9pm.
  • Maternity cover until April/May 2026 — 2 shifts per week (same hours as above).

We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person who can provide the important care that our client requires. Our client is a lovely gentleman who has a tracheostomy and PEG in place and requires support with his daily needs.

Full client-specific training will be provided by our nursing team. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a lovely team and to enhance your skills in complex care, with 24/7 clinical support.

Your experience and what we’re looking for

  • The ideal Care Assistant will have previous experience in a caring role and be a great team player who will work well with our team. Any previous experience working with tracheostomy and PEG would be beneficial.

  • Weekdays — £15.00 per hour
  • Weekdays Nights — £17.00 per hour
  • Saturdays — £17.00 per hour
  • Sundays — £19.00 per hour
  • Bank Holidays — £22.00 per hour
  • Full training for the role and provision of all certificates
