About the Role
Invictus Complex Care is looking for a compassionate and reliable Complex Care Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting a client living in their own home in the Bexhill on Sea area. This is a waking night role supporting a client with a brain injury and complex health needs. The successful candidate will provide attentive overnight care to ensure the client remains safe, comfortable, and well‑supported throughout the night.
Supporting responsibilities:
- Moving and positioning
- Suctioning due to secretion build‑up
- PEG feeding
- Personal care and comfort needs
- Monitoring and responding to changes in the client’s condition
- Maintaining accurate care records and communication with the wider team
You will work as part of a nurse‑led care team with ongoing support from a dedicated Nurse Manager.
Shift Pattern:
- 2 waking nights per week 20:45 – 09:00
- 4 week rolling rota – Week 1: Wed & Sun, Week 2: Wed & Sat, Week 3: Fri & Sun, Week 4: Wed & Sat
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in community based care is essential
- Experience with complex care, PEG feeding, or suctioning is preferred, although full training can be provided for the right candidate
- Calm, reliable, and professional approach
- Compassionate and person‑centred attitude
- Ability to work independently within the client’s home
