An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider, primarily working across a portfolio of education and commercial sites throughout North and Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical plant, heating and hot water systems, primarily within plant room environments. There will also be some travel across the Home Counties to provide additional cover for sickness and holidays when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical plant, heating and hot water systems.
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs within plant room environments.
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently.
  • Complete routine inspections and ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering team and ensure a high standard of service is maintained across the sites.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 qualification as a minimum.
  • Mechanical or plumbing bias.
  • Proven experience within mechanical maintenance and building services.
  • Experience working with mechanical plant and heating / hot water systems.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • PASMA qualification would be desirable.
  • IPAF qualification would be desirable.

Package

  • Salary £45,000
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Working hours between 08:00 and 16:30
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
