Invicta Health has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join the team on a part-time/full-time basis. The role will be based across all 7 of our GP Practices: St James Surgery, Martello Health Centre, Orchard House Surgery, Church Lane Surgery, East Cliff Practice, Birchington Medical Centre & St Peters Surgery.
Main duties of the job:
- As a HR Advisor, you will provide an efficient and effective service by delivering professional HR advice to managers on a range of areas including employee terms and conditions, disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment, absence management and organisational change.
- The role will work closely with the HR Manager to champion employee wellbeing and engagement and support with any organisation-wide initiatives.

Job responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Selection: Support and guide managers with the recruitment & selection of staff, ensuring job descriptions and recruitment processes are in line with the recruitment and selection policy.
- Absence Management: Monitor all absences and maintain absence reporting, providing guidance to line managers on managing attendance of employees in line with Invicta Health policies.
- HR Advice and Guidance: Effectively handle enquiries from employees, external organisations and former employees and expedite any enquiries as necessary.
- Policy & Service Improvement: Proactively contribute to supporting the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR policies to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Secretarial and Administration: Maintain and update internal HR Information Systems and plan and organise weekly management meetings for the Practice.

Experience:
- Experience within a HR advisory role
- Understanding and knowledge of current legislation and HR best practice
- Previous experience working in HR within the NHS/Primary Care

Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Educated to degree or diploma level or equivalent experience
