Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. We aim to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms. Established in 1804, we have around 5,500 people across 36 global locations. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.

Our 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the asset and wealth management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.

Throughout the programme you will:

Who we’re looking for:

We seek ambitious, creative, and collaborative interns who are passionate about content, digital, and client-focused marketing. You should be eager to learn, able to adapt quickly to new teams and challenges, and motivated to build a career in asset management marketing. Ultimately, we are looking for enthusiastic interns with a blend of technical and soft skills, eager to grow their marketing career in a dynamic environment.

  • Understands different types of marketing campaigns and content (such as articles, emails, and social posts), knows the basics of audience targeting, and is familiar with mainstream digital and social media platforms.
  • Comfortable working with data, tracking key metrics, and learning from analytical insights to support decision making.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing content and materials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Effectively tracks tasks, manages priorities, and meets deadlines; proficient in using collaboration tools like Outlook, Teams, or SharePoint for team communication and coordination.

The team:

The Schroders Marketing function is structured to support the business’s future growth through a Central Global Marketing team and Regional Marketing Hubs. Central Global Marketing is organised around three core pillars: Marketing Proposition & Campaigns, Strategic Brand and Digital, and Marketing & Business Development Services. It is complemented by specialist teams in Corporate Communications and Wealth.

Regional Marketing Hubs across the Americas, UK, APAC and EMEA work in close partnership with Central Global Marketing to adapt and localise global campaigns for their markets. They also collaborate with regional sales teams to deliver local marketing activity aligned to regional priorities.

Global Marketing

Proposition & Campaign Marketing: the team creates Schroders’ global marketing campaigns and develops the core messaging and materials that markets use to bring those campaigns to life locally. The team works closely with the regional marketing hubs and colleagues across Global Marketing to ensure campaigns are relevant, high quality and ready to activate. The team is also closely connected with Sales, aligned to pipeline priorities and supported by the right technology platforms, to deliver the practical materials that Sales teams and clients need, underpinned by strong market insight and clear objectives.

Strategic Brand and Schroders Capital: the team provides clear ownership of Schroders’ positioning, visual identity, and owned, paid and earned media channels. The team helps sharpen how Schroders shows up in the market, build recognition across key segments, and reinforce what makes the firm distinctive, its public-to-private range and deep solutions capabilities across asset and wealth management. Schroders Capital is Schroders’ private markets business, bringing together capabilities across areas such as private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate and other private assets, to help clients access long-term investment opportunities beyond public markets.

Marketing & Business Development Services: the team enables Schroders’ marketing and business development activity through a combination of specialist support and functional capabilities. This includes Client Research & Experience, which helps teams understand client needs and improve how Schroders engages across key touchpoints. The team also delivers Business Development Services which includes support for RFPs, proposals and DDQs, helping ensure responses are high quality, consistent and timely. Agency Management works with procurement and regional teams to oversee agency arrangements, improve value for money, reduce duplication and ensure agencies are used effectively, particularly in specialised markets. In addition, the team supports broader transformation programmes across the function, improving ways of working, processes, technology and governance to help Schroders deliver more effectively and at scale.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications we’re looking for:

When the internship commences, you will have completed your second year of studies and will be on track to graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in 2028. We welcome applications from all degree subjects, although a qualification focused on Marketing would be beneficial. Please note that we do not accept applications from students in their final year who intend to undertake further study (e.g. a Master's degree) before entering employment.

A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
