You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. The traineeship introduces you to investment management and will provide industry knowledge, experience, and relationships that enable career development and provide skills for a permanent role. The program is a fixed‑term one‑year contract, with 24 days annual leave, based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and automate presentations (for portfolio reviews or investment proposals) and reports using internal front‑office tools, Excel/VBA, PowerPoint, Python, Bloomberg.
  • Produce and update performance attribution on a monthly basis.
  • Write and maintain VBA and Python codes to assist in portfolio analysis, positioning and performance, generating regular/ad‑hoc presentations and reports.
  • Extract historical portfolio data to respond to ad‑hoc queries, RFPs and regular requirements.
  • Track deliverables and deadlines to ensure high‑quality service.
  • Maintain market and product knowledge in line with quality standards.
  • Participate in investment strategy meetings in a supporting capacity.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a relevant financial markets field.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interest in Fixed Income products is beneficial.
  • Team‑player approach with flexibility, reliability, responsibility and commitment.
  • Experience in Excel/VBA, PowerPoint, Python.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver quality results.
  • Confidence and solution‑oriented mindset suitable for trading floor environment and direct access to portfolio managers.
