Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to senior investment team members. This role suits someone who is interested in contributing towards a world-class investment team in a high-performance environment. Operating a high-feedback, high-trust culture that prizes initiative, judgment, and outcomes over process.
Role objective
This is a varied role, where no two days will be the same. The scope of the role includes supporting a senior portfolio manager and their team of 4, getting hands-on with our Responsible Investing team, and providing ad-hoc administrative support to our Quant, and Data teams. This role allows you to be involved in a number of areas, using your judgement to prioritise and make things run smoothly across the team. Specifically, it entails:
Precise, proactive Executive Assistant-style support, including diary management, travel, and ad-hoc priorities β enabling our senior leaders to focus on what matters most.
Organising investment research: Strengthening the teamβs effectiveness by sourcing reports, tracking company management interactions, broker events, proxy voting and maintaining data.
Keeping the team running smoothly: Keeping on top of essential administration for a number of different teams β scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, managing expenses, and registering for conferences.
Stepping up when needed: Providing cover for our two other Administrators in the team as well as occasional support for the wider office.
This role can involve taking on side-tasks that help make our team sharper and our environment more effective. Examples may include event planning, office services or other internal projects.
About you
You are someone people rely on when it really matters. You combine precision with judgment, and bring both resilience and initiative to everything you do.
- Highly organised β always a step ahead, anticipating issues before they arise.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-starter with high standards, perseverance, and a βcan-doβ attitude.
- Adaptable β comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Curious to learn the language of investing and how a world-class investment team thinks.
- Committed to continuous improvement β for yourself and the team.
- Proven success in a demanding professional environment; experience in top-tier financial or professional services is preferred.
- An understanding of how our industry operates is an advantage.
This is a rare chance to work side-by-side with senior investors in a firm that is uniquely set-up to thrive over the long term. If you bring energy, initiative, and uncompromising standards, you wonβt just support our success β youβll help shape it.
