FIG/Insurance M Principal investment - Associate to VP1

p A leading FIG investment bank team with a strong record in Capital Light FIG and Insurance is expanding their London team and targeting an Associate due to continued growth and pipeline. You will be a high calibre FIG investment banker and have gained experience working on Insurance M A transactions deal experience. /p p br /p p In addition to buy and sell-side M A, there is a principal investments element to the role (approximately 50:50 with M A). The team has a pot of money to invest (FIG, FS Services focus, ticket size up to 100m). /p p br /p p strong Key responsibilities centre on: /strong /p ul li Execution of on-going deals within the group, e.g. M A transactions, Financing, Capital Markets etc /li li Supporting senior bankers delivering strategic advice to clients /li /ul p – Strategic idea generation /p p – Preparation of pitch book and discussion materials /p p – Data analysis /p p – Modelling (operating models, capital models, merger models, LBO, etc.) /p p br /p p strong Requirements: /strong /p ul li A proven background in FIG Investment banking (with a credible investment bank or boutique) along with relevant transactional experience /li li Some Insurance related M A experience is preferred /li li Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc ) /li li Experience in buy-side and sell-side M A /li li Strong communications skills: ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients /li li Outstanding analytical skills /li li Team player, willing and able to work with, coach and develop juniors /li /ul p br /p
