Driving a HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicle, new automatic vehicles.
Store deliveries to national chain.
Completing 10-12 drops (avg. 2 cages per drop).
Exceptional training, all fully paid.
Flexible rotas available.
Driving a 7.5-ton vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service.
Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.).
Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from premises.
Interacting with the public professionally when required.
Immediate starts available after registration & checks.
A wide mix of driving roles, including: A–B vehicle movements, Parcel & multi-drop delivery, Furniture & flower delivery, Pharmacy & home shopping delivery, and more.
Pay Rate (PAYE, holidays accrued): £12.50 per hour.
Multidrop deliveries from warehouse depot to retail stores.
Handling paletted deliveries using electric pallet trucks (some handballing may be required).
Conducting daily vehicle and safety checks before and after shifts.
Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Ensuring safe and efficient travel on all routes.
Oversee compliance with all transport legislation, including driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and tachograph regulations.
Develop and implement robust compliance processes and audits.
Provide expert advice and guidance to operational teams on transport compliance matters.
Monitor and report on compliance performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
Support training and development initiatives to embed a culture of compliance.
