We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our client in Livingston.
Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift system
- Days: 6am - 2pm
- Backs: 2pm - 10pm
- Nights: 10pm - 6am
Candidates must be able to work all three shifts on a rotational basis.
Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour for day and back shifts. Night shift premium of £3.76 per hour, taking the night shift rate to £17.41 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Picking customer orders accurately from stock.
- Packing orders carefully to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Labelling parcels and preparing shipments.
- Receiving and organising incoming stock.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory control.
- Supporting the production team with general warehouse duties when required.
- Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
- Keep accurate records.
- Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
- Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.
- Operate fork-lift trucks to ensure that store orders are loaded efficiently.
- Control the standards and organisation of our returnable equipment department.
- Contribute to the success of our recycling operation.
- Operate butter production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the preparation and mixing of ingredients.
- Monitor production processes and carry out quality checks.
- Package and label finished products accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Report any equipment faults or production issues to the supervisor.
- Support other production tasks as required.
- Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate and pick correct items for shipment.
- Safely picking items from shelves and packaging completed orders.
- Unloading deliveries and assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse.
- Completing all necessary invoicing and paperwork accurately.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
- Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
- Loading, cutting (Saws) and offloading of steel.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly actioned for accuracy of stock.
- Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift truck.
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
- Keep work area clean and tidy maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.
- Operate machinery (only when trained to do so).
