To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises. To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms. Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained. Assist with laundry tasks. Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes. Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team.
Operating power-washing equipment. Stripping/cleaning/rebuilding machines, ensuring they are available to be used by production as needed. Participate in the routine cleaning of the equipment and machinery within the manufacturing facility, including manual handling, lifting and moving machinery and equipment, to ensure that all appliances are thoroughly cleaned. To maintain a clean, safe and tidy environment throughout the factory. To ensure safe working practices are always adopted.
Working within the friendly and knowledgeable Estates and Sustainability team, you will be committed to the delivery of a high-quality service. We are looking for individuals who can be flexible on a fixed term ‘as and when’ basis. The successful candidate should be able to carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the college procedures, instructions and health and safety requirements.
General cleaning of offices/kitchen and warehouse. You must be able to work to deadlines and prioritise. Excellent attention to detail is required. Required to work independently or in a small team. Customers may be on site so you need to be polite and courteous at all times. Full training will be given on all duties and machinery if required.
Home cleaning. Self employed role with no evenings or weekend work. You will be required to clean floors, floor mats, surfaces, chair legs, ledges and fixtures. You will be required to wear overalls and PPE for part of this job.
