Job Description: You\’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we understand and share the difference we\’re making. You\’ll work at the intersection of data and people: designing meaningful ways to collect evidence, drawing out key learning, and then collaborating with colleagues, partners, families and young people to ensure that learning drives progress.Design and lead inclusive data collection with families, children and partners to reflect what matters most to them.• Collate and analyse a range of qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups).• Work closely with delivery teams, partners, and policymakers to ensure evidence is accessible, actionable, and shared.• Create engaging reports, insights, and briefings that inform strategy and influence change.• Build the capacity of internal and external teams in evidence gathering, analysis, and impact storytelling.• Support ethical, child-informed research and evaluation, championing lived experience throughout. Experience And Qualifications: Strong understanding of evaluation design and data collection methods.• Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data.• Proficient in tools like Excel and familiar with working with local/national datasets (specifically Scotland).• Skilled in presenting data in clear, creative, and accessible ways.• Knowledge of data protection, GDPR, and ethical data use.• Commitment to Save the Children\’s vision, mission and values.
