This role is ideal for a recent graduate or soon to be graduate who is looking to start their career in quantity surveying within a leading construction business. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across live building projects, working alongside experienced commercial professionals who will support your development and help you build a strong foundation for a successful long‑term career.

First up, your induction. Over two weeks, you'll build up a clear picture of the business and what makes us so different. That's followed by a period of intensive training, taking in everything from stacking shelves to making decisions on how the store is run. Then the challenges really kick in as you're given the keys to your own store, and get to grips with managing your team and a multi‑million business. By the end of your first year, you should be ready to take on a full Area Manager role, with all the responsibilities that entails, from motivating employees to encouraging excellent performance.

Deliver essential hygiene services to a variety of clients. Respond to emergency hygiene needs and participate in an on‑call rota. Provide expert advice and professional service to clients. Gain hands‑on experience in biohazard cleaning, flood clean‑up, infection control, and more. All the while working towards your Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications in hygiene, plus a BESCA certification in Air or Grease Hygiene.

As an Operations Management Graduate you will be joining the business on an 18‑month training plan developing your people skills, your organisational skills and your problem‑solving skills with the aim of becoming a key member of the site production team. The training programme includes time spent in various departments including quality assessment, planning and production management. There will also be opportunity for head office visits and potentially some international travel.

The Judicial Institute for Scotland is seeking a highly organised and motivated Legal Assistant to undertake legal research to support the design and delivery of knowledge resources for judicial office holders in Scotland. This includes analysing case law and legislation and producing accurate, high‑quality written work. You will also support the Institute’s Board, Advisory Council, and a range of committees and working groups. In this role, you will provide committee secretary support and help ensure smooth and effective governance.
