Painters - Social Housing Responsive Maintenance (Central Belt Region)
FULLY QUALIFIED, TIME SERVED PAINTER - We are looking to recruit painters to undertake works on recently awarded responsive maintenance contracts within the social housing sector. All contracts are in the early stages of long term agreements with job security guaranteed for the right candidate. The works are mainly based in the central belt region. Applicants must be comfortable working in domestic properties and must possess good communication skills in order to liaise with tenants, other tradesmen and planning team. Working from one of our custom-equipped CCTV or jet vans, you will visit all types of clients — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road and utility — across Scotland. You will carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyse results, as well as jetting and vacuum extraction of drainage systems. Due to growth we are looking for Drainage Technicians to join our growing team on a permanent basis.

Ensure compliance with respect to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment. Ensure Company policies are always adhered to. Ensure all site related incidents are reported. Identify and react swiftly to resolve problems before they escalate. Responsible for safe & effective jetting and Vactor work as well as CCTV works completed on site in line with client requirements. Loading & unloading of vehicles, ensuring all hoses and equipment required for the job are on board. Maneuvering and use of plant boom and associated hoses lifting weights. Confined space entry of drainage chambers. Establish good relationships and communication and resolve issues with early resolution of any potential problems.

You will be required to support the Voids team with all refits, refurbishments to homes & Council properties that we support in the North Lanarkshire area.
