We are Diamond Home Assist, an award winning support agency in West Lothian and West Edinburgh. We support many different individuals in the community, including those affected by disabilities, complex needs, previous or current addictions, dementia and much more.

We are currently looking for staff members in the WEST LOTHIAN area, to fulfil the role of 'Community Support Worker'. Candidates should be willing and able to complete tasks of a personal care nature. Training on this will be provided as part of the role.

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents' lives every day. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for.

To promote the highest standards of care within the nursing home:

  • Uphold the residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors
  • Adhere to SSSC Code of Conduct
  • Set a good example at all times in respect of dress, manner, hygiene and behaviour
  • Report any injuries, disease or dangerous practice to all relevant personnel
  • Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and statutory bodies
