As a Planner/Works Programmer at Coatbridge you will be working alongside the North Lanarkshire Council, delivering excellent service and support to our teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. You will ensure that all works orders are scheduled through the In‑house appointments system, repairs works are allocated to trade operatives, and all works are carried out with minimal average turnaround time. Support the scheduling of operative and sub‑contract resource to ensure effective resource management, delivery of a customer focussed repairs service and that performance targets are met / achieved.

Carpentry Repair Technician: Carry out day‑to‑day carpentry repairs in occupied properties as part of a responsive maintenance service. Replace and repair internal doors, frames, handles, locks, and hinges. Fit and adjust kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors, and pelmets. Install or replace skirting boards, architraves, and other decorative joinery. Repair or replace timber flooring, stair components, and handrails where required. Make good following repairs, including basic patch plastering or tiling as needed. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.

Road Works & Maintenance Technician: Carry out general carriageway maintenance and repair works. Install and manage traffic management systems, including signs, cones and barriers.
