We are looking for owner‑drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner‑operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it). As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Use a curtain side trailer to take on a diverse range of tasks, including palletised deliveries/trunks, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries.
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top‑notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers’ expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Make A‑B vehicle movements, including parcel and multi‑drop deliveries.
- Deliver furniture, paint, flowers, pharmacy, and home‑shopping deliveries, and more.
- Handle general haulage and pallet network work.
- Load and unload where required.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and comply with safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 1 vehicle, typically new automatic vehicles.
- Store deliveries to national chains.
- Complete 10‑12 drops (average 2 cages per drop). Deliver chilled and ambient goods and palletize using a pump truck.
- Receive all training fully paid.
Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles. Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers. Operate the HIAB crane for loading and unloading. Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures. Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately. Provide excellent customer service on site. Report any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly. Collaborate with team members for smooth day‑to‑day operations. Represent the company professionally at all times.
