Technical Business Analyst

Technical Business Analyst – WealthTech – London/Remote – 6-month Contract – (Outside IR35) – Immediate start

A global wealth management technology provider is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital transformation projects across its award-winning Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform.

We’re looking for someone who can start immediately on an initial 6-month contract. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person collaboration, around 2 to 3 days per month in their London office.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, can operate across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), and has experience working on end-to-end tech products, both on-prem and SaaS.

Business Analysis & Delivery

• Act as the bridge between clients and internal delivery teams, managing expectations and ensuring successful project execution
• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
• Own and maintain the product backlog for client projects
• Run sprint planning sessions and work closely with developers and testers to align on delivery
• Lead client-facing sessions, including workshops, sprint reviews, UAT, and go-live support
• Support technical teams in delivering scalable solutions across both on-prem and SaaS environments
• Ensure adherence to internal SDLC and security protocols across all project phases
• Contribute to the benefits realisation and value tracking of product delivery

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in technical business analysis for software product development
• Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and full SDLC
• Experience delivering end-to-end software solutions in a technical capacity
• Prior exposure to both on-premise and SaaS delivery models
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (2013–365) and related system integrations
• Background in wealth management, wealthtech, private banking, or FinTech sectors
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Exposure to CLM or CRM platforms within financial services
• Understanding of SaaS operations and cloud technologies (e.g. Azure)
• Experience delivering enterprise-level digital transformation projects
