Overview

In this role you will support direct and indirect tax activities within a large, established business in Central Leicester. You will work as part of a finance-taxes function, contributing to tax compliance, accounting and reporting processes. The role offers a broad tax and finance remit and a hybrid work setup. You’ll tackle multiple deadlines and seek improvements to reporting and processes, making a measurable impact on financial accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare direct and indirect tax returns
  • Complete reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
  • Support tax accounting and financial reporting activities
  • Analyse financial data and improve reporting processes
  • Assist with finance and tax-related projects

Key requirements

  • Part-qualified accountant (essential)
  • Experience in finance, accounting or tax
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
