We are partnering with a highly successful and internationally recognised FMCG business to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager for their Procurement Finance team. The Opportunity
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will lead the financial reporting and performance analysis of the procurement function, providing critical insight into supplier spend, cost savings initiatives, inflationary impacts and procurement performance across a complex global operation. You will act as a key business partner to Procurement, Supply Chain and Commercial stakeholders, ensuring robust reporting, financial governance and data-driven decision making that supports business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of accurate and timely procurement financial reporting across multiple categories and business units.
- Produce insightful monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs for senior leadership.
- Analyse procurement spend, savings delivery, cost inflation and supplier performance trends.
- Partner closely with Procurement leadership to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and drive value creation.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes relating to procurement costs and savings initiatives.
- Develop and enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI tracking.
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance across procurement reporting activities.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, automation and enhanced data analytics.
- Support strategic procurement projects, business cases and investment decisions.
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong financial reporting and analysis experience gained within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, retail or a similarly complex environment.
- Experience partnering with Procurement, Supply Chain or Operational teams is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence influencing senior leaders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP and reporting systems.
- A proactive, commercially minded individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and evolving business.
