A Business Analyst is required to join a leading organisation at the heart of the UK's energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major transformation programme, working across a range of business and technology initiatives that will help shape the organisation's future. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, define requirements, and support the delivery of solutions that drive meaningful change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyse, document, and validate business requirements to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and project outcomes.
- Produce key business analysis artefacts including process maps, functional specifications, use cases, and data flow documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to evaluate solution options and support successful project delivery.
- Conduct gap analysis, support business case development, and help identify risks, dependencies, and constraints throughout the project lifecycle.
Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within business change, transformation, or technology-led programmes is essential. A good understanding of data is also required. Strong requirements gathering, process modelling, and analytical skills are necessary, with experience using tools and methodologies such as BPMN, UML, Agile, and Waterfall.
Experience developing business cases, conducting options appraisals, and translating complex business needs into practical solutions is important. Professional Business Analysis qualifications and experience within utilities, energy, or highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
