Legal Entity Controller - 12 Month Contract in Slough

Legal Entity Controller | 12 Month Contract | Financial Services | £80-100k base | London

Investigo are partnering with a leading high growth financial services business looking for an experienced immediately available Legal Entity Controller to join an established, high performing team on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Preparing annual statutory financial statements for multiple entities across several accounting frameworks (including IFRS, US GAAP, Singapore GAAP, Hong Kong GAAP, and Norwegian GAAP).
• Performing monthly analytical reviews of entity-level income statements and balance sheets.
• Managing month-end close processes in line with Group reporting timelines.
• Producing monthly management information and commentary.
• Completing monthly transfer pricing calculations and related reporting.
• Preparing, reviewing, and challenging balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responding to ad-hoc queries from external auditors.
• Supporting the development and enhancement of existing processes.
• Assisting with the integration of newly acquired businesses into the reporting cycle.
• Contributing to the design and implementation of a robust, best-in-class control environment.

Competencies

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with audit experience in the Big Four
• PQE in financial services is ESSENTIAL, preferably in capital markets
• Experience preparing audited financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS is advantageous.
• Strong background in group management accounting, including reconciliations, transfer pricing, intercompany activity, and cross-charging.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance processes and deliver added value to stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
