An exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to develop within a large, listed organisation delivering complex, multi-entity projects. This is a key role within the Finance Systems team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of financial data, while providing insight to support decision-making at senior level. You’ll support the maintenance and improvement of finance systems, alongside delivering day-to-day system administration and user support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly finance systems activities across Mercur (budgeting & reporting) and TEFA (timesheets).
  • Own data integrity, system governance, and integrations within Mercur.
  • Act as primary support contact for Mercur and TEFA, resolving user queries and system issues.
  • Support administration of the Oracle ERP system, deputising as needed.
  • Develop and document best practices, controls, and system processes.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, including audits and data cleansing activity.
  • Partner with FP&A to enhance reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
  • Work with external providers to develop and validate reporting outputs.
  • Support finance system improvements and ad hoc projects.
  • Manage and develop a junior team member.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a finance systems role.
  • Hands-on experience with Mercur (essential), TEFA (essential), and Oracle ERP (preferred).
  • Strong background in systems optimisation, reporting, or process improvement.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong overall systems capability.
