Investigo is thrilled to partner exclusively with a renowned London University, celebrated globally for its cultural influence in the Arts and Higher Education. They are seeking a skilled Business Change Manager for an initial 24-month fixed-term contract. Based across their London campuses 2-3 days per week, this role will place you at the heart of their Strategic Change Team. You will be instrumental in driving the delivery of this major strategic transformation for the organisation, ensuring they operate in a way that is sustainable, future-proof and student-centred for years to come.

This pivotal position will work across two interconnected programmes, focused on delivering people-centred change initiatives that ensure successful understanding, communication and adoption of this change to ways of working.

The Role

As Business Change Manager, you will lead engagement and communication initiatives, ensuring that people remain at the centre of the University’s ambitious transformation programme. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and Deliver Change Strategies: Drive strategies that engage staff and students, enabling the adoption of new structures, roles, and ways of working while managing benefits realisation.
  • Champion Engagement: Plan and coordinate change activities, ensuring transformation is clearly understood, effectively communicated, and meaningfully supported at all levels.
  • Embed a Culture of Change: Foster adaptability, innovation, and resilience across the organisation, ensuring the long-term success of the move to a Target Operating Model (TOM).
  • Coordinate Alignments Across Teams: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including HR, Communications, Process Improvement and Service Design colleagues, along with Project Managers and Associate Directors, to sequence and deliver change in line with programme objectives.
  • Focus on People-Centred Delivery: Ensure the experience of staff and students remains a central priority throughout the programme, developing success criteria and managing expectations to facilitate smooth transitions.

  • Experience Leading Business Change: Proven track record in managing large-scale change programmes and enabling the adoption of new processes and operating models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Expertise: Skilled at influencing, engaging, and managing relationships across diverse communities, with resilience and credibility in complex, multi-opinion environments.
  • Focus on People-Centred Change: Adept at embedding transformation in a way that supports staff and students, delivering outcomes that align with strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration and Communication Strengths: Experience working across different professional and academic teams to create shared understanding and buy-in.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Attention to detail in planning and execution, balancing swift delivery of critical outcomes with a long-term strategic vision.
