Network Project Manager – £600PD- Outside IR35 – Croydon (Onsite)
I am currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure transformation initiatives on a contract basis. The role will be focused on delivering network migration projects, SD-WAN implementations, and VMware upgrades/migrations within a large-scale enterprise environment. This will be a predominantly onsite requirement in Croydon.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of end-to-end network migration projects, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Oversee the planning and execution of SD-WAN implementations, working closely with architects, engineers, and vendors.
- Manage VMware migration/upgrade programmes, ensuring alignment with business continuity and resilience objectives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in line with business goals.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, providing clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Drive governance, project controls, and documentation to ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager within infrastructure programmes.
- Demonstrable experience delivering network migrations at scale.
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and associated deployment challenges.
- Experience managing VMware environment migrations/upgrades.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong background in budget management, vendor management, and project governance.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams within complex, enterprise-level organisations.
