This is a newly created role ideal for someone who enjoys analytical depth, cash flow ownership, and working closely with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and ongoing refinement of cash flow forecasts, ensuring models remain accurate, insightful, and aligned with business performance.
- Produce clear, high‑quality financial reporting for senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities across the business.
- Partner with finance teams across multiple sites and functions to gather, validate, and challenge assumptions feeding into short‑ and long‑term plans.
- Support the evolution of capital planning processes, helping to improve forecasting methodologies and strengthen long‑term financial projections.
- Carry out detailed analysis of movements between forecast, budget, and actuals, explaining key drivers and performance shifts.
- Maintain and enhance long‑range financial models, ensuring assumptions reflect operational realities and strategic priorities.
- Run scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of market conditions, operational changes, and external economic factors.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support to senior stakeholders, helping shape decisions around investment, performance, and growth initiatives.
About you:
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) MUST HAVE 3-statement modelling experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly motivated self‑starter with a proven track record of progression and continuous development.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
