Senior SAP Payroll Consultant (UK/Ireland) required by Investigo on a permanent basis. We are seeking two highly skilled Senior SAP Payroll Consultants to play a pivotal role in delivering and optimizing complex Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions. This position is designed for a subject matter expert who thrives at the intersection of intricate payroll legislation and technical system configuration. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between statutory requirements and seamless digital execution, ensuring our payroll systems remain robust, compliant, and efficient.
As a senior lead, your focus will extend across the entire project lifecycle—from initial requirements gathering and deep-dive configuration of Payroll Schemas and PCRs to final go-live support. You will be the primary authority on UK (HMRC) and Irish legislative compliance, managing critical components such as RTI, Pensions, and BIK. Beyond technical delivery, you will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders and a mentor to junior consultants, providing the technical guidance necessary to resolve complex defects and oversee the integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and ECP. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact implementations and serve as the final point of escalation for mission-critical payroll performance issues.
Required Skills
- Extensive Technical Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Payroll (On-Premise) and/or SAP SuccessFactors ECP, with mastery of PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and Schemas.
- Legislative Domain Knowledge: Deep, specialized knowledge of UK and/or Irish payroll processes, including statutory regulations, HMRC compliance, and RTI.
- System Optimization: Proven experience utilizing the Payroll Control Center (PCC) and managing standard SAP tools such as the Wage Type Catalog and Off-cycle payroll.
- Integration Management: Strong understanding of the technical integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ability to translate complex technical payroll jargon into clear, actionable insights for HR leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
